North Island Kōkako – A3 Signature Wall Art (Oak or Walnut)
Free NZ shipping over $150 · Afterpay available
The North Island kōkako is a bird of deep forest and unforgettable sound. This is the most habitat-rich composition in the range, placing the bird among ferns, flax, native grasses and layered forest forms inspired by Aotearoa's bush.
The fine birch cutwork carries the kōkako's blue-wattle profile and the dense forest-floor detail. Underneath, a crisp white cast-acrylic middle layer shines through the openings in the stained overlay, giving the whole scene clarity, contrast and real shadow depth above the dark grey-stained timber backing.
Framed in your choice of American White Oak or American Black Walnut, same price either way, and finished with a hard wax oil. Each A3 piece is designed, made and finished in our Helensville workshop. Natural timber grain and hand finishing make every piece subtly individual.
For every Native Bird Wall Art piece sold, furnACE sets aside $2 for quarterly donations supporting New Zealand native-bird conservation.
