Birds of Aotearoa Coaster Set, Handmade NZ Macrocarpa Timber (Set of 5)

Twenty native New Zealand birds. Five solid timber coasters. Engraved on both sides.

The front of each macrocarpa coaster is a detailed Birds of Aotearoa medallion featuring four native birds, individually illustrated. The back names the collection and lists its four birds around the rim, finished with the furnACE mark. There is no plain side: both faces are fully engraved. Together the set covers twenty species across five themed collections, from the Kakapo and Karearea to the Albatross and Red-billed Gull.

Macrocarpa is a superb coaster timber: warm honey grain, naturally hard-wearing, and easy to wipe clean. Finished in Gilly's Hard Wax Oil. The matching X-frame holder is included, so the set stores neatly and displays beautifully on a bench or table.

Every set is designed and made by hand in our Helensville workshop. A genuine piece of Aotearoa for the home, and a gift that gets used every single day.
